Full name if I dinna "know" you. Otherwise, as mentioned, it is disrespectful.

I used to have issues with my shortened name.

I've learned to embrace it, and actually introduce myself with it now.

Yeah, Liotte I always get so confused and torn, I never know whether to call you by your real name or BWW name!

I too almost always use real names though sometimes if a name can makes sense to say in real life as opposed to like wickedrentq, it can sometime slip in every now and then. Esp. moreso when I first meet people, if I just learned their names.

I really do not use the Esquire. My old partner also refers to himself as a lawyer and I usuually say attorney.

99.999999999 per cent of all people who meet me mispronounce my first name. Even after I correct them, they insist on still mispronouncing it. Some of them actually become irritated if I correct them and say something to the effect of "so what", big deal! I've been dealing with this my whole life. I even started introducing myself with a different name for a while in order to avoid that whole scenario. Waaaaaa!

Wait. You can mispronounce Jane? Unless that's not your name and I'm just an idiot.

I've definitely had people call me Emcee in person. It's kind of funny. Like, I definitely remember being halfway down the block and someone being like "Emcee, come back!!" If you do it, I'll respond, even though it's a little weird. But it's usually not a conscious thing; most people call me by my actual name.

Jane's real name is spelled exactly as it should be pronounced.

And I've spent most of my life being asked "what is your REAL name?" Oh yeah. That's not completely irritating.

I always call people by their real names, except cookie. Because it's just so much fun to say "cookie". I, however, am usually called Moony. Maybe I look like a "Moony".

emcee, my real name isn't Jane. I use it because I always wanted my middle name to be Jane. I think I told my aunt that my middle name was Jane and to this day she still calls me .......Jane!

I would have trouble in a large group of BWWers, since I would only know who is who by SN and it would take some time to learn "real names" I am certain in that case I would slip and use SNs often.
