How people make it past 80 these days surprises me with all these "What's wrong in the world?" things.

I mean, come one! People are 100 today. You'd think that people of today's generation could make it to at least 95.

I think the stress of the mess keeps us alive less.

I don't think germ phobic people make good lovers.

I had an Aussie toliet installed, the second I read this. That way, the germs go away from me!

LOL! Poor Munk! Actually this story was on a major morning talk show at least 18 mos ago. and it's 100% factual. I've been closing the lid ever since! Worse than this, you don't want to know what they find on public stair handrails, escalator rails, doors, phones, ATM macines, food markets, salad/buffet bars, doctors offices, hospitals. I go through tons of hand sanitizers in a year and wash my hands a lot! I eat out much less than most people or use public rest rooms.

OK, so you can't stop all the germs, especially when in public places and everyone's immune system is different. But, I am a clean house, germ freak. You don't want to know what measures I have taken to keep us in a healthy house. OK, it's not for everyone.. but we are rarely sick with colds/flu bugs for many years.

Closing the lid won't do it all, but if more people would practice better hygiene we'd all be healthier.
