The only thing he can do is look into ways for federal agencies to ensure that women in Texas have access to safe and legal abortions as protected by Roe v. Wade. That's it. It's absolutely terrible.

Not that I have a clue, but getting the SC to not do shadow dockets and actually have their usual lengthy discussion with the documents to match would be great. Which should have happened anyway, but somehow did not. Again I'm just stating what I want to see happen, without any real idea of what CAN be done. But considering there's always SOMETHING that can be done, there's checks balances for a reason, I want to see them used. My stomach is still turning from this.

I mean it’s complete BS. Religion and morality should not be a deciding factor in law. The fact that the Supreme Court upheld this is egregious.

Technically no, but effectively yes. What they did was decline to do anything about it, which in legal terms isn't upholding it. Shadow dockets aren't 'case closed' decisions in and of themselves, they aren't full documents of arguments that they've held in sessions they normally have. Not to mention this shadow docket is unsigned, the dissenters did not sign it. But effectively, they might as well have upheld it. We all know it's total BS and egregious as hell.
