I've been so blessed meeting so many wonderful people here - many of whom have become my real-life framily. People I truly love.
I'd be honored to meet everyone who calls this place 'home'. We've all shared so much over the years.

I did meet Corinne. Only the once.
I was introduced to Pal Joey by Mr. Rob Diamond hisself.
i bumped into Mark Shaiman ( with his spouse who was not on BWW) at the theatre once
I ALMOST met Namo but our cellphones wouldn't connect. ( :C)

Oh, and Phyllis Rogers Stone! How could I forget that? The one person who could get me to see Follies again. And I met suleengay and Marc Shaiman the same night. Still see the delightful sueleen on occasion.

I occasionally suspect my current roommates have posted here, but I've never asked them.
One past roommate definitely did; BWW was often a fun topic of conversation in our apartment!
I once almost met Anastasia Beaverhausen but he couldn't make it. I did leave him a voicemail saying, "THIS IS LIZZIE CURRY!," so that was fun.

I don't believe I've met anyone knowingly, though I have no doubt I've crossed paths with some of you in my years in NY and on BWW. I'll also echo the comment that those who've posted in this thread are among my favorites to read and would love to meet if circumstances ever arise.
Words don't deserve that kind of malarkey. They're innocent, neutral, precise, standing for this, describing that, meaning the other, so if you look after them you can build bridges across incomprehension and chaos. But when they get their corners knocked off, they're no good anymore…I don't think writers are sacred, but words are. They deserve respect. If you get the right ones in the right order, you can nudge the world a little.

I am sure that I know people on here but we don't know our BWW names and I'd like to keep that allure. I think that's the positive/respectful part of the whole anonymity thing as a member here. But after being in this business for 25+ years, i'm sure I've bumped paths with a number of posters here. It's a small small world.
