I won an X File contest some years back... I strike a resemblance to Gillian Anderson. When X Files was at it's peak, I always got the whole "you look like that girl on that show" line. It made for one fun Halloween, though... with the whole FBI badge on and trench coat, it really drew attention. My kids hated it because when we stepped into the mall, people were either yelling "Scully!' at me or stopping me to talk. While out trick-or-treating, someone dressed like an alien ran up to me and my kids, yelling THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE, scaring my poor daughter to death.
Now with X Files dead and Ms. Anderson not in the public eye as often, people don't notice it as much. Which is fine... because I like people seeing me for me...

Mostly Jennifer Lopez (which I don't see at all) and Natalie Portman (only in my driver's license, I think.)

I wish I looked like a celebrity.

One of my best friends, Kate, looks a LOT like Lindsay Lohan. When we go to the mall she often gets kids asking her for her autograph. Sometimes she tells them the truth, sometimes she signs as Lindsay, but the best is when she signs Kate, and the kids are too embaressed to say anything.

WAIT,

I remembered something. In first year university random strangers used to come up to me all the time and say "You remind me of someone...oh yeah...Abe Lincoln from "Clone High"" !!!!

Apparently I looked like a cartoon teenage clone of Abe Lincoln's DNA... ???

The highest I got on myheritage.com was Audrey Tautou. Seeing as I once went in for a haircut and showed the lady the box for Amelie, this made me very happy :)

And my friend said I looked like Charlize Theron, but I'm pretty sure he was high.

I have been told by a lot of people that I look like "the thinner" version of Monica Lewinsky. Ack. I've also gotten Natalie Merchant quite a few times.
