My heart aches and mourns the loss of PB Crisps. That was an awesome snack food.

The REAL Hostess Cupcakes. You know, the ones with the squiggle on top? What's on sale nowadays isn't anything as good as the original.
oh Dolly, for me it was the coconut things that hostess made with chocolate and some cream-like substance in them, the pink ones....not so much the white
were they snowballs?

Yeah, snowballs! I think those are still made.
IF, cruel, I were still speaking to you, I would tell you that what is made NOW is nothing like 30 years ago....but I'm not, so I won't, BUT when I do again, I will. ;oP

I remember there was a joke made about snowballs on the episode of THE SIMPSONS called "Homer's Phobia"
I know they're still available on eBay if you search hard enough, but I adored Dunkaroos.
Koala Yummies, did any else eat these?
I loved them, they were tiny Koala shaped cookies filled with chocolate or strawberry frosting. I loved the strawberry filled ones.
Dunkaroos, sorta like handi-snacks but with kagaroo shaped cinnamon cookies and frosting to dunk them in. I loved those.
And I'd wash it down with a Squeeze It or Gelooze brand beverages. Ohh, childhood!!!

I second Dunkaroos Are they definitely gone? I think a little while ago I was talking to someone who said they bought some, but I could never find them.
I think I packed them in my elementary school lunch (ok, maybe middle school too) every day.
The Reggie Candy Bar...
I loved those. They were like giant turtles with the carmel and the nuts and chocolate.....
Damn, I'm drooling a bit.
Some astronaut food - can't remember what it was called, but it was chewy, and the best flavor was peanut butter.
Anyone know? Diva?
rath, are you refering to the freeze dried ice cream sundaes in a tube? i think there was a peanutbutter sundae flavor.
No.

Y'all are making me hungry!
oh... my brother used to eat those when he was little. they sold them at a store that no longer exists around here called "natural wonders"
I think those were sort of like protien type bars, right?
haha I remember Dunkaroos! Cookies and icing, what more could you want??
ooooh... now that you say that, i think we sold those at my dad's old store... he owned a bike shop and we sold energy bars and protein powder.
the only brand names i remember are cliff and goo... there were others but i only remember those ones.
and i remember dunkaroos!
Maybe, Diva.

Canada still has Dunkaroos, I was just eating them last week.
Not so much a snack food, but I miss Vienetta Cake, it was a rich ice cream cake with thin solid layers of chocolate throughout.
