Flowers in the Attic (if you're going to make a movie about gothic mansions and incest, you need to go all out)

A Chorus Line definitely as the version made definitely did not cut it

Kozijat Rog (The Goat Horn)
It is a classic and has already been remade, but the story is so powerful and like a Shakespearean classic, so easy to reinterpret in many ways. Both films were really directed toward the Bulgarian audience. I'd like to see or direct a version for the international audience, but please, not a Hollywood production.

There must be a wealth more awesome samurai films that could do with westernising. My contemporaries like to kvetch about Americans remaking Japanese films. I say that if that practice gives us stuff like 'The Seven Samurai' and 'A Fistful of Dollars', then let America remake the entirety of Japan!

In about twenty years, they should remake the Harry Potter films.
They were making the films before the full series was out, so they'd devote a lot of time onscreen to something that ended up not mattering at all to the series, or they'd cut something of critical importance and have to reshape the whole plot of future films around that. I wish they'd waited until the whole series was out before they started making movies.

JCS was such a disappointment.
And I'd say A Chorus Line but I really just think if they got rid of those goddamn greasy perms, recast Diana and got a better camera it'd satisfy me.
