Had a lovely day today. Lunch and shopping with a friend, bought some lovely little things (mostly on sale), and just generally had girl-time. 5 hours' worth, actually! Woo-hoo!
As for the weekend, I've got no plans tomorrow (apart from my standing date with the laundry), but I have a party to go to on Sunday and my monthly theater company meeting on Monday evening (which should be fun, as we just acquired a new space, and this will be my first opportunity to go see it).

Sometimes no plans are the best plans!
I actually got into laundry mode tonight, but then I ran out of detergent after the first load. I'll have to get more at the store tomorrow. But my flannel sheets got washed and they are nice and fluffy again, so I'll have pleasant sleeps tonight!

It is breezy, it's not bad in the city. Maybe cuz all the tall buildings are blocking the wind over here in midtown.
