Good Morning all! Thank god it's FRIDAY!!!
DD - I was speaking with Hubby last night and he said he might need to go out to Seattle to meet a client sometime in May, and I'll most likely go with him, so we'll go see a show!
I'm trying to get a mental picture of L riding an elephant to the theater is south Florida....hmmmmmmm
YWIW - you're kitties are very cute!
Thanks - they think so - they were actually sleeping in that position (with no kissing) this morning.
Hey DD - I am glad you got back home safe and sound. Sound like you had a blast on your holiday trip to the East Coast.
My brother has two tabby's that do the same thing. He adopted them from two different places at different times, but they are identical looking and are inseperable. Alex & Scottie!
Hah! I want a picture.
BTW - how did that contract issue end up? The vendor still pissed?
We just found out we are closing an entire office this year - 500 people will either lose jobs, or be offered a chance to move . . . wait for it . . . wait for it . . . wait for . . . to Cedar Rapids, Iowa...
Luckily, I am not affected job-wise except that all of the contracts that involve that office will have to be modified and a lot of good friends may lose their jobs which really does suck. It will not be a good year.
Ugh.
ehhh it's still up in the air. He wasn't too mad at me, but he calls me everyday to see if there is any update. He's like a little lost puppy, I feel bad. My up-lines have come to me twice since with false alarms, but I ignore them and won't contact him again until I know for sure.
I will ask my brother to send me one and I'll post it!
That stinks about the office closing. If my company keeps gong down the path they are going now (no organization, too many new product initiatives but no follow through, high over head costs, etc.)I can't see us lasting another year. But yet I've said that every year for 4 years and I'm still here!

Happy Friday all! What are the plans?
I am seeing Doubt this weekend. I really look forward to it.
Otherwise, the Bears on Sunday and much of the same.
It's Friday! It's Friday!
Not quite sure on plans yet. I think the funeral is tomorrow morning, but I'm still waiting on details. Otherwise, I think I'm heading into the city to be wild and drunk at a bar, somewhere, tomorrow night with a friend. I also have to buy a dress for a wedding next weekend (not looking forward to it, the dress part). And Football on Sunday as always.
Sounds fun Tink!
I am seeing Forbidden Broadway tonight, Henry and Mudge tomorrow night, and Bee on Sunday night. Teaching on Sunday morning, tutoring Sunday afternoon, tis about all.
Oh I can't wait to hear your thoughts on FB. Of course this means I can only have ILYYPNC that I've seen and you haven't! Chris mentioned we might actually be going back to see that with some people, so you should come too! I mean it's only 2' from you apartment!
Maybe I will, let me know when you are going!
And I have seen FB, just not in a couple years.
ohhhh, my mistake.
Will do!
No worries! I would never expect anyone to be able to keep up with the shows that I see! That is a full time job!
Liotte.. we might reach the end of this thread soon. But I might not start it agin till Monday because weekends are so slow. Don't jump the gun. You know how brd gets.
Brd is the one to talk to, not me!
And DAME, we can't just sit around and wait for you all weekend, we have needs too ya know!!!
LOL. It should last through the weekend. But Liotte.. ther ARE other threads to you know. Lots of nice people out there.
We have over 800 posts til a new thread is needed. I think we'll be ok for this weekend.
And yes, there are lots of other threads, I know.
I think I am doing some furniture assembly this weekend.
My bed frame arrives today.
And I think my sofa arrives on Monday.
For some reason, I actually like putting the stuff together - go figure.
That, and some football.
The truck arrives tomorrow to take away my current sofa, loveseat, coffee table, wine cabinet and file cabinet.
YWIW, that sounds exhausting! I like putting together furniture too though, so I understand.

New furniture is nice. We have new stuff in the basement. We need new couch and loveseat for the front room but a new bathroom and roof and the priority.
I just have to keep Stoli out of the way - he likes to help a little bit too much some times (he ends up trying to eat some of the parts!).
Zorra just watches a wee bit confused!
Are your cats allowed on the furniture?
My apartment hasn't gotten anything new at all, we really do need some more living room furniture. The tv is still on the floor, there is one futon and that's it.
Yep. That is why I did not spend a fortune on furniture. I bought stuff I liked, but not top of the line.
That makes sense. We used to not let our dog on the furniture at all. But I used to let her sneak into my room on my bed at night and sleep there. If she heard someone coming up the stairs, she would jump off and run back to her bed.
