The key was stuck! What up TD?
I was in NYC from Thursday to Sunday. We saw 5 productions. My kids gave Halloween photos of themselves dressed like Aldolpho and The Drowsy Chaperone to Bob Martin and Danny Burtsein, who LOVED them. I am still EXHAUSTED and so run down from the trip that I can hardly communicate.
I promise to be more entertaining when I resurface from my debilitating fatigue.
OKAY???????
Nada, just got in from a rehearsal. Now, I'm sitting around waiting for pages to refresh....

DD is fine, he's just very busy at work.

It's my first time working at the Opera and it's amazing. Everything is HUGE! I can't believe they put all this work into a show that's only running for a month. The director has designed the entire show so it's not like they can rent it out, unless someone wants to produce it exactly the same way.
*Edit* Ooops, got the dates mixed up

Hiya, brd.
We just watched one of my favorite movies again - EVER AFTER. I'm an emotional wreck right now. Reality doesn't always fit into easy little compartments, as those who have lived life are well aware.

I have not seen that movie, but we love The Dead! One of our favs.
DG, "EVER AFTER"? The Drew Barrymore romanctic movie?
Oh, my. I love that movie!
The most amazing thing about my kids is that when Bob Martin and Danny Burstein saw us, they both said, "Oh, Hi! I remember you guys!" Bob said he would hang the 8x10 where the entire company could see it. I even gave it a "vintage look"!

EVER AFTER is a re-telling of the Cinderella fable, starring Drew Barrymore, Doughrey Scott and Angelica Huston. The art direction and screenplay are spot-on.
Oh, who am I kidding?
I love that movie.
