I just discovered this thread, so I'm bumping it.

I have 2 gay cousins, both of whom are in their early 40s and are really an inspiration to me. One of my cousins has been with his partner for 17 years. My other cousin lives here in the city and is a huge support to me.

And speaking of gay uncles, I am a gay uncle. But my nephew is being raised to be a big strong heterosexual man, as opposed to simply an adult person, so before he even realizes it, he'll either hate me or hate himself (depending on what his orientation is), but regardless, he will hate.

Just a side note: I think the whole "coming out" process is unnecessary. If parents wouldn't literally tell their kids that they are straight from the day they are born, there would be no closet to come out from.

My cousin is gay, just came out to her parents a few years ago and they sent her to a preist, most of the family doesn't know, i was the first person in our family that she told.

I am the only gay one.

I think my cousin may be gay (so says gaydar), but he's engaged to be married. So, either he's really messing up his life and someone else's, or he is str8.

No one in my family is openly gay. I didn't really know any extended family members, but 3 cousins, grandparents, and two sets of aunts and uncles...
I can't see it being a huge deal to the family, I think they'd be pretty cool with it, so I don't think there are any closet cases, but then what do I know...

I loved my lesbian dog. She hated all male dogs and would try to attack them. But any time my sister's (female) lab would come visit, she'd get very happy and "kiss" her hello (by licking her mouth).

As for my family, I am the sole trailblazer. Tally ho.

I think the correct answer to this question is "Everybody!" Yes, everybody has a gay relative. They may not know it, but they do. I love to tell people who say to me, "Oh, there are no Homosexuals in my family!" "Yes, there are. They just haven't sucked YOUR dick!"

Gay uncle here with gay nephew.

One gay male cousin on my father's side, another still closeted at 34 but everyone thinks he's gay.

Three gay female cousins on my mother's side.

One deceased uncle who was a lifelong "bachelor" going back to WW2.

lol...my cousin is lesbian, I think that's all... Then you have me, lol. :) It's not popular in our family to be gay so my parents forbid me to tell anyone else in the family. I would'nt really care if my family knew because I dont think they would care but my dad won't let me. He threatened to send me off to some kind of military school if I told. I would die at a military school! Plus side: There would be alot of hotties there...lol. I think one of my great great great great uncles was gay. My grandma told me once that one of my great great great cousins (once removed, lol) was transgender. I dont know how true that is (my grandma lies alot! lol), but I wish some other ppl in my family would come out...I feel so lonely. LOL!

Both of my father's siblings (a brother and sister) and well, his second son (me). And a lot of us suspect his second daughter is gay.
