Who is the highest paid public official in your state?

My parents set up a trust fund when my sister and I were born and that paid for our college. However, I realized how lucky I was to be in that situation because a lot of my friends had to take out loans to pay for their college. I didn't take it for granted.

My son currently has about $30K in a college fund, but I'm sure when he goes to college he will have to take out loans. It's a whole different ball game now than it was when I was in school.

It is funny how alumni struggle with student loans and get letters from the school asking for donations of money.
