Family Time? What do I need family time for? I'll be with Dad in two weeks in Raleigh, NC, and then I'll be in Minneapolis the week after that with my Mom. In October I have a Bat Mitzvah, and then in Novemeber my mother comes in for the Marathon...

I have NO escape, whatsoever. I don't need damn family time!

I'm getting all the last minute things. I know they have camera chargers in NYC, as well as everything else, BUT, if I buy it all here, my don't won't realize they're my charges on the credit card. I don't plan on doing heavy duty shopping. I'm talking socks and pedometer!

We are busy packing the picnic baskets for a special family night outing under the stars.

No he won't -- dog's don't realize that things are gone. Only when they come back. So he doesn't have a clue!

He is precious...I'll miss him. But I have a stuffed animal with me, AND a penguin.

I get in at 6:19 a.m. I plan on getting my ass + 100 lbs of luggage to the dorms. Then, the "Family Luncheon" with my 1st cousin, followed by unpacking! And two runs: One to Bed, Bath, and Beyond. The other to Duane Reade!

Went out dancing and the place was packed... ugh, I don't mind busy, but it was ridiculous. You could barely move.

The sirens were the Fashion Police tracking a certain someone who was wearing flip flops, manpris and a Beaver coat on Michigan Avenue.

And, my double life is a lot of fun today: Cleaned two bathrooms, put away all of the Ravinia supplies, laundry, cleaned the kitchen, found maps of Iran, Iraq and Oregon for home work, getting ready to clean yard and mow grass.
