That's a little scary... I have no idea what I'm doing three months from now... hell, I have no idea what I'm doing two weeks from now.
It's quite sad. I was invited to a Bat Mitzvah the last weekend in January and I know I can't go because I will be in DC with our high school students. And a friend invited me to go to Hartford to check out the Wicked tour in Dec, and I have a youth group event on that sunday! Grrrrr
Evening, people.
How is everyone? Are we over the Tonys, yet?
Hi hep!
Hopefully people are... some people just take it WAY to seriously.
Hey, DD.
How are things?
Oh good... did my moping yesterday... busy at work today, last couple of weeks of rehearsals of Camelot. Then I have absolutely no plans all summer long.
How 'bout you?
Well, I have six weeks to vegetate. It will be nice to be able to get back to concentrating on some playwriting.
I'll take a mojito, please!
The weather has a very tropical feel today... I feel like hanging out on my fire escape! ('cept, I don't have one...)
Um, to answer questions earlier: No, I didn't go to the Tony Awards this year. I opted to stay home and watch from the comfort of my own home! I had two friends over and we had a fun chat with another friend on the phone during the broadcast. It was fun dishing on the dresses and speeches and cheering when the winners were who we wanted! Plus, it gave me a good excuse to open some bubbly on a Sunday night!

Hi Addy!
I'd like a raspberry lemonade, please! And some water for my bird.

LOL - coming right up, beacon!
I had my first lemonade of the 'season' yesterday at brunch. Delicious!
Ooh, lemonade! So refreshing.
Deliciously refreshing!
gettinhep, you mentioned playwriting. What kind of plays do you write?
Addy, I am just mucking around with a couple of things at the moment. Nothing good enough to mention, yet.
In the meantime...
Addy, your lemonade is delicious.
Well, that sounds like alot of creative fun!
My college roommate just had her first book (novel) published. She's actually been published before, professionally. She tells me that I am in this novel, though not mentioned by name... which is a good thing!
I envy writers. Such a wonderful gift!
GH, your lemonade is delicious, too!
Hello Hussys,
I amstuck in Orlando. My flight out of here was delayed by two hours. So I was going to miss my connection in Dallas and was going to have to spend the night there. I opted to stay here and catch a direct flight to Los Angeles tomorrow. They have put us up in a Amerisuite hotel. YUCK! I have just taken a prescribed valium and I am having a very lite cocktail ( straight bartenders do not know how to pour)
DAME- sorry to hear you are stuck in FL! Have a safe flight tomorrow!
All those lemonades look delicious, especially after a night of volleyball followed by 3 hours of Israeli dancing. Ahh, my feet hurt but in a good way!
Thank you. On a good note. I got to watch Six Feet Under. fabulous.
See, always look on the bright side of life! And you have valium! Care to share?
That sounds like quite an activity, liotte!
Dame, sorry about your flights! This weather is causing flights to be grounded all up and down the East coast... Enjoy the valium and you'll be home before you know it.
My boss just threw a fit on the phone.
Tell your boss to take it up with God. You don't control the weather.

Hi guys, back from the hospital. Everything is fine and C9 is a trooper. We laughed on the way from recovery that C11 could not even handle the elevator let alone the surgery. But, C11 had banners for her sister when she arrived home. This was very minor surgery, but still stressful. I did feel for parents of kids with what seemed be much more serious.
Dame - sorry about Orlando.
Tony night here was fun.
