I have a head ache. I am hoping lunch makes it go away. I am craving a burrito from Sharkys.
Hopefully Dame you headache will cease when you get some food into you. For now you can put pressure between you thumb and pointer finger and release....sometimes this takes the pain away from your head.....usually puts the pain in your hand..but it works.
That does work! usually.
Fell better DAME.
Ugh, I guess my excitement over the Rent movie isn't transferring to everyone else.
not true, Shira - I'm looking forward to it - actually, Fall is going to be great for movies (Harry Potter, Rent, The Producers)... should be an excellent couple of months!

Shira - you must give us old men some credit. You can ask any of my kids about how excited I am. They look forward to the DVD.
I actually meant in Los Angeles.
Brdlwyr and OTA, you're not OLD!
Shira... there must be very small print in your post, cause shouldn't that line read:
"Brdlwyr and OTA, you're not OLD!" - that's what you meant to say, right?

Yes, I agree (even though I am much younger.)

let's just keep things in perspective... compared to, oh, I dunno - Sondheim - I'm a spring chicken...
Well... a chicken.
*ducks*
So what am I, a duckling?
By the way, this is a great article on LA traffic, for those who care to read it.
LA Traffic
*whispers to Shira* My comment was to OTA's spring chicken comment...
*whispers back* I know. I was just trying to figure out where I was in the pecking order.

Good article... I'll keep it mind, though it sounds a lot like Seattle driving. You would think people here know how to drive in the rain... not so much. Or the sun. Or the snow.

It's raining here and I have to dive home in traffic with no A/C.
The neighbor kids have been at their grandparents for 8 weeks and returned today. The kids are thrilled.
Going to dinner to Ray's Boathouse... overlooking Puget Sound. A Seattle institution. Yay!
SO... trying to decide when I want to check out Princesses. It's the pre-B'way try-out, so I'm sure they'll be changing stuff. They're offering discounts for the first half of the run, but I think I'd like to see it when it's in closer shape to what's gonna be on b'way, if it makes it that far. And I can only afford to go once... I have way too much theater to attend this year to be able to go more than once to the pricey shows.
Aw! Chickens and ducklings are cute and fluffy...
and tasty.
How true...
*doing a happy dance*
I just bought my tickets for my trip to LA.
hm... roasted duck...
Got home early today so we don't have to rush to the theater. We might take the train to the Pantages. But it is so ****ing hot.
