Route 4 is the stuff of nightmares. And the entire town of Fort Lee appears to have been created to funnel you to the George Washington Bridge.

But few things, my friends, compare to Israeli drivers, those fine folk who believe that lane markings are mere suggestions and that their life's purpose is to cut you off every time you want to shift lanes. Fun, fun people, those Israeli drivers.

I never lived in New Jersey but I did have an aunt and uncle who had a chicken farm in Vineland and I used to love to visit them. I did spend a week in Newark one afternoon.

Born and bred Jersey guy here. Jughandles are only hard when you don't know where they are. The worst road, traffic-wise, in NJ is without question Rt. 18, near College Ave. Campus/Rt 1. You want a nightmare? Try driving that between 3-7 on a weekday!

I live in Central Jersey, btw -- East Windsor -- right between Freehold and Princeton.
