He seems to be strict budget hawk- Bush gets dinged for deficit spending. It gets kind of screwy in the big painting where he puts truly dreadful Presidents like Polk or do-nothings like Hayes on the "nice" side just because they didn't increase the deficit. Of course Bill Clinton is "naughty" despite a balanced budget. In the big picture he even goes after teachers (holding a copy of Darwin) and pregnant women (I think because they might WANT an abortion). He is truly nuts.

A strict budget hawk when it comes to spending money on poor people. Tripling the deficit while trying to build missile-killing spaceships is A-OK, though.
