Lisa Lampanelli's a GREAT idea. Then they can finally get the male point of view on the show.
They can also send bamboo shoots to home viewers that they can stick under their own fingernails.

I love Lisa! She's freakin' hilarious.
I like the idea of Cho.

Posted: 4/25/07 at 11:09pmApparently Sheri Shepherd (who has guest hosted many times) and Susan Lucci are being considered.
#28re: Who should replace Rosie?
Posted: 4/25/07 at 11:13pmLa Lucchi has no time. If she could not do Dancing With The Stars there is no way she can do The View. Sherri though would be great...Audra anyone??
#29re: Who should replace Rosie?
Posted: 4/25/07 at 11:17pmI think they should cancel the damn show. Barbara, Elizabeth, and Joy are a bunch of useless twits with nothing worthwhile to contribute.

Posted: 4/25/07 at 11:19pmYou're so negative! Why are you so negative? What happened in your childhood to make you such a ****?
#31re: Who should replace Rosie?
Posted: 4/25/07 at 11:20pmPopular culture threw up on me.

#32re: Who should replace Rosie?
Posted: 4/25/07 at 11:21pmAt least popular culture has good aim.

They aren't going to fill any of the co-host positions with an 'unknown' Broadway actor.
Sorry but Audra and middle America are not related

Posted: 4/25/07 at 11:25pmRath, you're just as much of a bitter **** as I am, if not moreso. So watch it, sister.

I'm not bitter, WBAF. I'm older, more seasoned, and definitely wiser in the ways of the world and theater. And yet, I'm not as smug and superior about it as you.
Grow up. Treat other people like fellow humans. It will get you what you want much more quickly on the board and in real life.

Posted: 4/25/07 at 11:34pmI can't believe this thread has made it to page two without anyone mentioning Alexyss K. Tylor. The View could use a little Vagina Power. I'd LOVE to hear Barbara Walters and Elizabeth Hasslebeck weighing in on hittin' them walls and workin' the middle.

Dearest Granny Pot,
Thanks for the advice.

#38re: Who should replace Rosie?
Posted: 4/25/07 at 11:39pmI do not think Audra is 'unknown' at all. but that is just me.
#39re: Who should replace Rosie?
Posted: 4/25/07 at 11:40pmNow I'd love to seee Ms Tylor! Her video is hilarious!
#40re: Who should replace Rosie?
Posted: 4/25/07 at 11:41pmAudra is way too smart and down to earth for daytime television.

#42re: Who should replace Rosie?
Posted: 4/25/07 at 11:44pmNo way ABS. Tylor needs her OWN TV show. Oh god, I'd love that.
#43re: Who should replace Rosie?
Posted: 4/25/07 at 11:45pmI like WonderWaiter's suggestion. Alexyss Tylor. Even diluted by Network censors, she'd shake that show up good!
#44re: Who should replace Rosie?
Posted: 4/25/07 at 11:46pmtheaterdude87, I run things like this through my "Co-worker Filter". If I said Rosie to them I would be met with instant reactions and opinions. If I said Audra McDonald in front of them I would be met with blank stares and blinking.
#45re: Who should replace Rosie?
Posted: 4/25/07 at 11:47pmWBAF, perhaps she just hates the idea of working 12-14 hour days, and memorizing 20 pages of dialogue every night.

Two words: Kathy Griffin. That's the only way they're going to keep those of us who tuned in for the destruction of Starzilla and the rebirth of Rosie.
I love you for saying this. That was the first thing that popped into my head when I found out Rosie was leaving.
