Posted: 1/28/09 at 5:47pmI was once on another message board where there was a religious discussion. One girl mentioned that non Cristians would go to Hell. I posted that if she ever said that to me in person, I'd punch her so far she'd land on the moon. Then others responded that physical violence is never necessary, and gave me a lecture about it. LOL!

"Give ecstacy to an infant"
They didn't have ecstacy when I was a baby. I can't tell you what caused these episodes but I can tell you they happened. They happened a couple of times as an adult. No drugs involved.
I agree that religion can be destructive and hateful. Just sneak in to any Christian chat room and you'll see what I mean, they do nothing but attack each other, and they're not even as civil as we are.
"I think man created God in his own image" That seems to be the way God is interpreted.

Radiana - I continue to be intrigued by your experience. We know from science that the early childhood brain is still in developmental stage - until at least age three, and by some estimation up until age seven. Your claim of spiritual experience before age two is somewhat noteworthy.
Since physiological evidence points to you not really having recollection, why is it that you carry forth these awarenesses? Can you go into further detail about what it is you experienced, or should we just take it on 'faith' that they exist?
Why aren't people flocking to your doorstep as an obvious sign of universal truth, as imparted to an 'innocent'?

some churches are good, some not
some people understand the first teachers' lessons, some warp them to self-serve purposes
I just hope there is comfort found by those who need it most. Stories like these cause more questions and drive points home more than any preacher:

People aren't flocking to my door Q because I have never felt the need to broadcast to the world what these experiences were. I have shared them with a few people in my life at certain times when our conversations included spiritual experiences. I don't have much of an ego, I don't need attention and I don't need to teach or preach or try to change anyones lives or bring them to God. I brought these experiences up to explain why I believe in God.
As far as my remembering when I was a baby, I really don't care much what science says about that. Science has been wrong before about a lot of things. I know I have recollections of infancy, at least five. I am assuming my first memory was around the age of six months.
Q no one needs to believe me, I really don't care but you're asking me to open up my soul to this board and my skin is just not thick enough. You can understand that.
