Posted: 12/10/08 at 5:28pmI used to love to read until last week. Then my school library took down the Harry Potter "READ" poster and replaced it with a Twilight "READ" poster. That's turned me off reading for good.

I have two 3,000 word essays to finish for a week Saturday. I'm reading because I hate to give up my position as the Procrastination Queen.

It is ridiculous to set a detective story in New York City. New York City is itself a detective story...

I am reading because somebody posted a list of why it's hard to be a straight guy and it had all these hilarious references to Britney Spears and Beyonce songs and it really made me laugh, and THINK!
And then I realized maybe reading IS cool. The rest is history.

I read because it is truly the greatest joy in my life. I'm currently reading a biography of the Dowager Empress Marie Fedorovna.

I read this board for entertainment and also because it brings a nice dose of sass into my day.
As for actual reading, I'm doing it to improve my vocabulary as well as expanding my knowledge.
