There Movie won't be number one next week. Tropic Thunder will. My friend couldnt buy a ticket 3 hours in advanced last weekend. the week after it opened.

Are any of the original creators of Scary Movie a part of Disaster Movie? It seems like fewer are involved every time.

And as bad as they probably are (I've only seen the first two movies on that list, so I'm just guessing), there's really no reason to stop. The movies are so cheap to make, they pay for themselves after a few weeks in theaters.

Shawn & Marlin Waynes, who wrote the first 2 Scary Movies, left after the second. But it appearance at least one of them are in this new one. You see them in the commercial in their White Chicks costumes.

Well according to movies.com, there is a movie titled 'Sci-Fi Movie" in development. Im guessing its another spinoff/sequel.

I think "revere" is too strong a word, unless you're only talking about the same audiences that make hits out of all these spoof movies. It seems like most people either dislike MacFarlane or don't care. But I think one of his shows did score an Emmy nod this year, so I could be wrong about the reverence.

And for some reason, things don't seem as aggressively and offensively stupid when they're brightly animated.

Is there any news on Scary Movie 5? I actually enjoy the Scary Movie series. Number 3 was the best one, in my opinion. My roommate has the first one and I have 3 and 4. I need to watch 1 and 2 again soon.

...in case you all were wondering what my status was for watching the Scary Movie series...
