Disney's High School Musical 2 Premiere To Be Held at Disneyland's Downtown Disney
The biggest splash of the summer, the world premiere of Disney Channel's highly-anticipated High School Musical 2, will be hosted at AMC Theatres in Downtown Disney at Disneyland Resort on Tuesday, August 14. It will be the latest highlight of the ongoing Year of a Million Dreams celebration at the Resort, and the newest chapter in the unparalleled worldwide popularity of High School Musical. The phenomenon has even extended into Disney's California Adventure, where High School Musical has jump...
ED THE SHARK.
But why is this so, the first was 90 minutes of pure terror, can this be any better?
It surprises me that you find yourself so terribly mature and wise, hating this children's movie musical with such furry. However, you don't have the mental capacity to know that "Will this Hell ever end!" is, in fact, a question and should be marked with a question mark. A question mark looks like this- ?.
If you don't like it don't watch it. it's as simple as that.
"If we don't live happily ever after at least we survive until the end of the week!" -Kermit the frog "I need the money... it costs a lot to look this cheap!" -Dolly P. "Oh please, Over at 'Gypsy' Patti LuPone hasn't even alienated her first daughter yet!" Mary Testa in "Xanadu" "...Like a drunk Chita Rivera!" Robin de Jesus in "In the Heights"
"B*tch, I don't know your life." -Xanadu After that if he still doesn't understand why you were uncomfortable and are now infuriated, kick him again but this time with Jazz Hands!!! -KillerTofu
"hating that children's movie musical"
and that would be what?
How dare a musical made for tweens be a hit and be successful!
Well, considering it sucks...
I hated the first (it made my eyes bleed) but if its getting young people in to theatre then it can't be a bad thing.
Uhm, if getting young people into theatre is just giving loads more money to Disney from a MOVIE, then yeah, I guess it is.
I think the "Hell" is waiting for the thing to premiere. It feels like we've been waiting forever for it.
Maybe it sucks because it isn't made for us? Honestly, you couldn't catch me dead watching that.. but I'm not going to bash it because I don't like it. I'm not a 13 year old girl.
All I know is that it is familiarizing young kids with musicals, and that isn't a bad thing.

Don't forget the stage version is selling out all over the country and making lots of money for lots of your local theatres from regionals to schools to community and youth theatres. I say bring on HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3!!!!1
I think HSM 2 looks way better than HSM 1.
And I have much more respect for Zac Efron this time around since HAIRSPRAY.
Yay for HSM2.
Plus, it's fluffy and entertaining for the kids, and me.
Have a heart, Grinch.

It's getting young people to think that the theatre is all about cliched plotlines, banal pop songs and young, hip people doing young, hip things. So it's not getting them to the REAL theatre.

why would you post a full detailed report about where its premiering and what a huge hit the first one is if you hate it so much....???
Im 18 and im proud to say I love High School Musical and I can't wait to see the second one
Speaking of the second one how are people seeing the second one already!!!!??? I wanna see!!!
So i'm guessing that your an adult, so please understand this is aimed at children, so please remember that, and most children do like it!

That sounds like 90% of Broadway, so I miss your point
... not to mention virtually everuything on TV and in the movies. I think we're all trapped there, so we might as well enjoy it.
What I want to know is, when are they going to make another cell animated musical? Disney's bled the money out of pretty much every musical they've got...the fact that this is the first new musical they've produced in years makes me sad
We need something in the caliber of Beauty & The Beast or Aladdin...
