I do enjoy the word obfuscation, only because it's one of those that, if you try to say it too quickly, it sounds even odder.

Neil Simon says words with a "K" in them are always funny.
Tender. My friend hates that word. She cringes whenever I order chicken tenders at Friendly's. Hehhe.

My favorite word (today) is "defenestrate", and one of my favorte chuckle-busters is "onomatopoeia".

Discombobulated is fun. And Twinkie always sounded dirty to me.
Wait, Jailyard, do you like the word itself or actual onomotopoeiaic words?
The word itself. I LOVE saying it...as we wine freaks say, it's got a great mouthfeel. Actual onomatopoeic words are generally rather dull. I mean, who ever got excited over "buzz"?
thwack, plop.
The word 'flesh' really bothers me.
The only word that really amuses me is "about". Only when said by Canadians.
See, Jailyard? CKeaton likes thwack and plop!

Duty. Seeing it written isn't a big deal, but hearing it spoken sounds ridiculous...especially considering how "important" the concept is. I can't say "do your duty" with a straight face. It makes me think of a child on a potty chair...
