What is the worst TV show you've ever seen, either cancelled after a few episodes or never cancelled and had a horrifically lengthy run?

*cough, cough* The War at Home.
Well, as usual I think the word EVER is vague and inappropriate since some of us haven't even been around since TV became part of everyday life.
Having said that, one of the worst, most offensive, entirely cliched, and with only one redeeming quality (its star) is KRISTIN. I don't get how any network could have picked up that show, or how any writer could have written something that terrible. Chenoweth was quite good (and Ana Ortiz is a good actress even if she was playing a rather offensive role for Latinos) but the show itself was a complete disaster.
A show that I don't know why it ran for so long was 7TH HEAVEN.

I vehemently hate any show starring a comedian where the title is "The (Comedian's Name) Show" and the comedian, in question, is playing a character with the actor's first name but different last name.

That Nathan Lane sitcom in which he played a senator. Not only wasn't it funny, but it was produced on a budget of about $12 per episode.
Turn on or Turn Off . It was a Laugh In clone . It was one once & than it was gone

I actually liked The War at Home.
Its generally believed that NBC's late 70's-early 80's, pre-Brandon Tartikoff era produced some of the worst TV shows ever: HELLO LARRY, SUPERTRAIN, CLIFFHANGERS! and many others are still referred to as TV's nadir to this day.
Britney & Kevin: Chaotic
Hands down the worst show I have ever seen. I went into it knowing it was going to be bad, but it was a complete train wreck.
There was a sitcom, I think on Fox, a few years ago called The Help. It's illustrious cast included Mindy Cohn, Tori Spelling, David Faustino, and Antonio Sabato. Other than the facsination with the compulsion to view a traffic accident, it had no redeeming values.

Book of Daniel. Eight episodes were filmed, NBC couldn't sell it and only four were shown. NBC had to eat the huge advertising cost and ended up showing commercials that bragged about their Olympics coverage.

Now, Goth...was that the show with Kevin Anderson or the sitcom version of the E.L. Doctorow classic?
I agree with The War at Home. That show was awful.

Aidan Quinn plays a drug addicted preacher.
Think back to the early days of the WB. Like the "Nick Freno: Licensed Teacher" days. Or, even further back, that "Married with Children" knockoff starring Matt Frewer. I still have the moment etched in my brain where Frewer walked into the kitchen and announced to his family: "What a beautiful day! The sun is shining, and I just had a movement that would have made Beethoven proud." No amount of therapy has allowed me to forget that.
But Borstal, Hello Larry had one redeeming feature - it introduced me to the glory that is Joanna Gleason.

I loved Book of Daniel also. IT was as if they had created a show just to piss off the right-wingers: A drug addict preacher, the Gay son is the GOOD son, Jesus stops in to offer anti-church observations...so much to love.
And as far as worst TV show ever:'My Mother The Car' followed the antics of lawyer Dave Crabtree (Jerry Van Dyke from 'Coach'), a typically hapless sitcom family man who discovers that his mother has returned from the grave as a 1928 Porter convertible automobile.
They used to run it periodically on Nick at Night. Horriffic.
It is so awful but I watch it....the Tanning show on E!
