It is weird, right? Addy made me think of it. I've never met or seen her, I have no clue what she looks like, but I already know that I would not be able to watch her do a nude scene. I guess, I just want to keep some respectful distance, or leave something to the imagination.

I have done one nude scene onstage...a very brief scene and completely non-sexual. I would do it again if...
1. I felt it was warranted by the dramatic action
2. I lost at least 25 pounds!!

I would, and like windy said, if it was called for, I'd probably do a sex scene.
And I don't think I'd lose weight for it.
EDIT: HEAVEN HELP US is one of my most favorite movies, ever. I love it. I'm trying to think of a nude scene, but I can't. I know there's the paddling scene near the end. That's all I remember.

Posted: 2/9/06 at 2:52pmI did a production of Marat Sade where we literally turned the theater space into the mental institution and there was a lot of nude moments. My character was included in that frivolity and to be honest with you, I hardly thought about it. If you are in character, and it is called for in the plot - then yu just don't realize it. It was very natural for me.

Did Naked Boys Singing for a year. It's really not a big deal (no pun intended). I have a penis. It's not a secret. Other men have them, so there's nothing to be embarrassed about. If people see it, they usually react quite favorably. Being naked does not mean sexual activity any more than sexual activity means someone is naked. Too bad most of the country cannot distinguish between the two.
I'm not losing weight just for the sake of nudity. You hire me for a show, you get me as-is. You don't want to see it, then hire someone else. It won't hurt my feelings.
I don't do nudity just for the sake of tantalizing the audience. If it's not supported in the script, then it wasn't meant to be in the show. I'm not a soft-core porn actor. If I was, I would be working retail in West Hollywood.

Please, I was onstage in a bra and spankies when I was 14. I can't imagine it's TOO far off.
