I'm kinda bored. Feel free to add two or three lines before handing over to the next poster.
It was a glorious summer day in Manhattan. Xavier was just about to start his new job, and he felt like it was the start of a new chapter.

While singing "June Is Busting Out All Over" he pulled back the curtains and looked down to the street, all the while wondering why June had eaten so much that her clothes were bursting at the seams.
A few minutes later, Xavier sat into a cab and said "Central Park, please". Still whistling, as the cab sped nearer his destination, he began to feel a looming sense of trepidation. Nothing could have prepared him for what was about to happen.
Looking out the window of the cab, his eyes spotted him in the crowd.
It had been 5 years. And there he was.
He quickly asked the cab driver to pull over, and stumbled out onto the street, while trying not to be seen.
The man who had broken his heart. The man who had disappeared without a trace. Wondering if he had the courage to face him, the decision was made for him when their eyes met. At least he was in his best suit on account of the new job. Suddenly, his blood boiling up, and before he knew what was happening, he had punched Jacob hard in the jaw.
Immediately regretting what he had just done, he thought maybe the taxi was still pulled over to the side of road, waiting.

The taxi had already left. Xavier started running away, realizing he had made a mistake, and began to feel a sharp pain in his hand. He suspected it was broken.
It wasn't.
He was happy that he would still be able to shoot a gun.
So, so far, just to recap, this is our story

The taxi had already left. Xavier started running away, realizing he had made a mistake, and began to feel a sharp pain in his hand. He suspected it was broken.
It wasn't. He was happy that he would still be able to shoot a gun.
Just then a plump turkey came waddling towards him.
Was he hallucinating? The stress of the situation was getting to him. On closer inspection, he realized it was simply Jacob, who had put on a lot of weight in the intervening years. He was accompanied by an angry looking cop.
The melody of the morning's showtune came drifting back into his head. "Jacob's bustin' out all over..."

Xavier took a deep breath and thought, "What would Patti LuPone do in this situation?"

Patti LuPone would Duct Tape Justin Bieber to a tree in Central Park to save the world from his nonsense.
Their attention suddenly turned to the sky. Xavier couldn't believe his eyes. A giant meteor, hurtling at great speed, was heading straight for them. Was this the end of the world, or at least this story?
He had to let the world know! He quickly pulled out his cellphone and logged on to broadwayworld.com to visit the message board.

After closing twelve popups and silencing an Idina Menzel advertisement, Xavier began his post.
But his hand was throbbing from the punch and he couldn't type.
As Jacob and the cop continued to look toward the sky, Xavier ducked into the doorway of a nearby store and slipped through, unnoticed.
He had to get away. Quietly, he scanned the showroom and spotted a door in the back that was propped open. He took a deep breath and ran to the door.
What he found inside astounded him. An emaciated woman chained to drain. "Help me", she pleaded weakly.

He pulled his bic out and flicked it. Crikey, he thought. It wasn't a woman. It was Justin Bieber. This definitely had the mark of Patti LuPone all over it.

Then, a fireball erupted outside the shop - causing things to fall off all the shelves. Xavier went outside to investigate.
He discovered that the whole thing was an elaborate publicity stunt for the latest Jerry Bruckheimer movie. However, the experience had made him realize one thing. Jacob was still the love of his life. He had to find him.
To his delight, a whole bunch of Little Debbie cakes had fallen out of the box, and Xavier thought it was okay to take them, since they were loose. He started shoving them in his pockets when the cop took hold of his arm, causing some Little Debbie cakes to fall on the floor. "You're under arrest on two counts," said the cop. "Assault and battery, and now larceny. I'll have to take you downtown!"
