re: Writers block

I know exactly what you mean, and the BWW boards don't help.

Jotting down random notes sometimes helps.

re: Writers block

Writer's Block is fiction. Just because you don't feel like writing, it doesn't mean you have 'writer's block.'

Writer's block is something wannabe's made up.

Writing is work. Get to work.

Write, "I do not know what to write" a few times. My english teacher has prescribed that. I haven't tried it though. Tell me how it goes!
"This is what I trained to do, and this is what I love about theater. What I love about being an actress is being able to really look into myself and understand another human being. And out my own self, to shape and form and fashion a real human being--and to present that in such a way that people see something of themselves or their own understanding in that human being." --Phylicia Rashad

re: Writers block

It's not that I can't write. I don't know what to write. I have all these ideas that make perfect sense until I start to write them down. Then they get all jumbled up and I don't know what the heck is going on. I feel like writing. I want to write. It's just that I can't focus enough to filter out whatever I really want to write.
