"Momentum" can change with one swing of the bat. I wouldn't bet on anything as amorphous as that.

Good LORD Papi!!! I can see they were going for that element of surprize thing w/ Ortiz trying to steal (I mean, it almost worked...he was safe, and Posada almost threw it away) but COME ON! We can't afford to give outs away. At the rate we're going, the Astros/Cardinals game will be over before this one is!

I'm hoping the Yankee's bullpen will fall apart soon (in the bottom of this inning). Seriously, though, the Sox have to keep the ball in front of the plate if they want to get out of this half of the inning.

Haha I know. I saw Ortiz and I was like, he can't even make it to first if it isn't a walk or a homerun! My mom's like "No stealing in times like this!" I'm like I love stealing... just NOT when it Ortiz!

Hm, anyway... The girl that sang is like one of my really good friends. She is soo sweet and such a great singer. I missed it, but my sister said she thought she was lip syncing. I was surprised because she doesn't ever do that, but then maybe I thought she had a cold...? Haha whatever I'm getting off topic, I just wanted to see if anyone saw her. Do you think she was a good singer?

Stadium sound systems often aren't really synched with the lip movements of singers. Especially at an ancient place like Fenway.

She had a good voice. It was just annoying because she did a really bad job of lip-synching; her mouth was about a second behind the music. But it was still good!
