I have so many, but I'll just list two:
"Rock stars kidnapped my son."
"Do you mean to tell me that coconuts migrate?"
Eleanor in The Lion in Winter - [to her jewelry] I'd hang you from the nipples, but you'd shock the children.
From ALL ABOUT EVE --
Margo: "Fasten Your Seatbelts! This is going to be a bumpy night!!!"
A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE--
Blanche: "I've always relied on the kindness of strangers"
Mary_Ethel, the "but you are Blanche, you are" is also my favorite line!!! or as I would say, "buhtch-ya are Blanche..."
Dottie,
Let's go rent BABY JANE RIGHT NOW!!! :)
"i'm the last man on earth you want to f*** with." james caan, thief
"he'll regret it till his dying day, if ever he lives that long." victor mclaglen, the quiet man
"what's the matter, nick, you need some chapstick or something? because your lips keep getting stuck to your teeth, or is that your idea of a smile?" michelle pfeiffer, tequila sunrise
The funny thing about "Baby, Jane"... I was in a production of Madama Butterfly and when I finished putting on my makeup and wig, someone commented that I looked like Joan Crawford from that movie!!!

and then nearly every speech by katie in the way we were... seriously if you're a politicly active young person, i HIGHLY reccomend you check this movie out. it's just uncanny the resembelence between the political climate then and the one now. here's some sample from arthur laurent's script...
(addressing college campus)
"what are you scared of? the russians don't want anybody in spain but the spanish, is that scary? they're communists, yes, but hey want total disarmerment NOW, is that scary? hitler and mussilini are using the spanish earth as a testing ground for what THEY want, another world WAR, is that scary? you're darn right it is! there's only one thing to be scared of- and it's not me. and it's not he young communist's league. and it's not the red boogie man.
you be scared of anybody, any place, who will not stand up for world peace NOW!"
(to hubbell on the phone after he's left her the first time)
"it's me. hubbell? listen hubbell, this is kind of paculular. i know i don't have to apologize for what i said, because i know that you know and um but i also know you that i don't feel exactly bright eyed and bushy-tailed, as jj would say. anyway the parculular thing is, it's really a request, a favour. you see i can't sleep hubbell, and it would help if i had someone to talk to, you know, a a best friend or something to talk about it with. only you're my best friend. isn't that dumb? i'm so dumb. you're the best friend i ever had. and... it would help so much if you could just come over and see me through the night. look, i promise i won't touch you, or beg you, or embarress you. but i have to talk to my best friend about someone we both know. so could you come over right away, please?"
(after he comes over.)
"there's something i want to ask you. it's because i'm not attractive enough for you, isn't it? i'm not fishing, really, i'm not. i know i'm attractive... sort of. but i'm not attractive in the right way, am i? i don't have the right style for you, do i? be my friend."
"no. you don't have the right style."
"i'll change."
"no! don't change. you're your own girl, you have your own style."
"but then i won't have you! why can't i have you, why?"
"because you push too hard! every damn minute! there's no time... to relax, have fun, everything's too serious to be so serious."
"if i push too hard it's because i want things to be better, i want *us* to be better, i want *you* to be better. sure i make waves, i mean i you have to, and i'll *keep* making them until you're everything wonderful thing that you should be, will be! you'll never find anyone as GOOD for you as i am, to believe in you as much or love you as much."
"i know that."
"well then WHY?"
"do you think if i come back than everything's going to be okay by magic? what's gonna be changed, what's gonna be different? we'll BOTH be wrong, we'll BOTH lose."
"couldn't we both WIN?"
"GOD!"
"look, i like hollywood, i like alice fay, what's not to like?" (reference to hubbell wanting to sell out and become a screenwriter)
(hubbell punches wall, laughs, makes strangeling jester."
"aren't you sleepy yet?"
"no... you are."
"i'm exhausted.(long pause). katie, you expect too much."
"oh, but look what i've got!"
okay doesn't that just brake your heart?
oy! i feel like rainman now. the scene after the witchhunt protest thing is great too but i don't feel like remembering all of it now.

PapaLovesMambo...this is the second thread where I noticed you're a John Ford fan. Hooray!!
And Beaverhausen...That quote from "Kindergaten Cop" cracks me up every single time! It's so nice that other people like it as well.
I guess my favorite quote is not as fancy or famous as some of these other ones...but it's been a cult phrase at my house since I was about 5:
It's simply Hayley Mills saying "oooh, Boston" in "The Parent Trap". It's more her delivery of the line actually.
Another good one:
"When the legend becomes fact, print the legend." THE MAN WHO SHOT LIBERTY VALANCE
"The whole team?" - Dorothy (Jane Russell) GENTLEMEN PREFER BLONDES.
