Still, I'm glad it's not a "lock" either way. So many categories could split two or even three ways.

I'm still sticking with 12 Years a Slave for Best Pic, but with this preferential voting (hate it!), I definitely think Gravity could win. I wouldn't be surprised at all if it did.

A few interesting tidbits to note for tonight, depending on how the voting goes ...

If "!2 Years a Slave" wins Best Picture, five-time nominee Brad Pitt will be honored with his first Oscar.

If Jennifer Lawrence wins, she'll be the first since Tom Hanks (almost 20 years ago) to win back-to-back acting Oscars, and the sixth person ever to do that.

"American Hustle" is the 15th movie ever to receive nominations in all four acting categories. Last year's Silver Linings Playbook was the 14th film, and both Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper were nominated in both films.

If Bruce Dern, age 77, wins Best Actor, he'll break the record for the oldest in that category by a year (Henry Fonda was 76 when he won for On Golden Pond). And if June Squibb, age 86, wins, she'll break the record for oldest in her category by seven years (Peggy Ashcroft, A Passage to India).

If Robert Lopez and his wife win the Oscar for Best Song, Robert will be the 12th person in history to achieve an EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony), all in competitive categories.

I got 22/24. I stupidly went with Bad Grandpa for Makeup (That $250 budget story for DBC carried) and missed Helium for short.

Proud of myself that I picked Jonze. It's not just that the WGA disliked Russell for his stunts he has done against his other screenwriters in the rewriting/crediting process, he is really not that well-liked and just is filler in a lot of places.
