The Christmas Tree with Julie Harris. Should be a "Holiday Season" classic. Wonderful film, heartwrenching but uplifting at the same time.
baddadnpa: That av... :)
It just ended. I love it. I do wish the music were better - but it was a joy to watch it again!
Oy! A joy to watch?! To me, all it has going for it is its score. I just listen to the CD when I want to hear it. The film, I never want to see again.
The only one I really enjoyed was Bobby Van's "Answer Me a Question". (Plus I got to watch him dance, which is always a joy). The others (for me) were either borderline 'blah' or awful.
It's nothing more than personal taste.
As far as Lost Horizon, I have to say that I like the movie without the score, and the score without the movie. They just don't seem to fit together well at all, but both are great separately. Which is one of the (many thousands of) reasons why I love this movie so much!!!
Other movies that aren't out yet:
"She" (the gawdy remake with Ursula Andres)
"The Wonderful World of the Brothers Grimm"
"Flight of the Doves"
"Run Wild, Run Free"
