I'm kinda a mix of Sutton Foster and Audra McDonald... if thats possible..
and i can do an exact imitation of Stephanie D'Abruzzo's voice
I can do an exact imitation of Cheno's voice.
Damn, Jess. I'd love to hear your voice. You sound amazing!
Judy Kuhn, in my middle range
although i don't necessarily sound like her i would say my voice is most like donna murphy's. she has a certain flexibility -- she's able to sing many styles credibly and that's me.
I sound like Hunter Foster, mostly.
I sound like me. And I've always taken that as a compliment.
You sound like Julia Murney, Bway.
I hate you, Popcultureboy.
Everyone knows I sound like Melissa Etheridge. But she's not a Broadway star.
haha he said you sound like Julia Murney.
Do I sound like anyone? I've heard many different answers. I used to hear Sutton Foster a lot, but now that my voice changed, I don't really hear it as much. One of my friends told me I sound like Laura Benanti. Another told me when I was singing Fine Fine Line that I sounded like a less nasal version of Stephanie D'Abruzzo. What do you think? Do I even sound like anyone on Broadway now?
I guess it's kinda like Sherie Renee Scott

Ass. That's who my voice resembles right now. Ass.
Depending on what I'm singing, I could sound *similar* to Nathan Lane or Josh Groban (I know he's not a Bway star, but hey...) The difference is usually whether I'm playing a character-role or not...
When I sang "How to Address A Cat" for an Audition I had alot of ppl tell me I sound like Ken Page when I sing it. It's funny because for the past 3 years I have been singing that song over and over trying to perfect my voice to sound like his for that song, because I really REALLY want to eventually play that role. :) I sound like different ppl, I'm not really sure but so far, Ken Page. :)
i guess mine would be closest to elaine stritch.
