I am assuming you are not aware that in 1988 she founded American Voluntary Medical Team and for year she a lot of the grunt work herself. It's always pained me that I could fin nothing to dislike about her...

Posted: 3/8/08 at 1:46pmforget about it, rad. your reality does not jibe with the need here. she's a heartless stepford wife with a drug habit who covered up the murder of countless children so that she could drink their blood. not for any medical reason, but because she hates children. so your continued attempts to alter that story merely show that you love the republicans, hate the democrats and will stop at nothing to defeat his holiness, bammy.

papa I find myself in an unusual predicament this year. this is the first time I've actually known a Presidential candidate for two decades, not like we're chummy and have dinner together once a month...but you know what I mean...it's ironic that given the years of campaigning against and disagreed with the McCain's ... I find myself compelled to argue some of these absurd claims I know to be entirely false.
Yet on the flip side some things the press is only now picking up on for example, the talk about his temper....is very true and to be honest...vastly downplayed given his penchant for cursing out unpaid Washington interns and throwing tantrums....and paperweights...then again....he has done some things that have stayed with me...that he did not for press or good faith.

Reading this thread after the fact was interesting. My favorite part was towards the beginning when PalJoey declared that Obama wouldn't fire Samantha Power because he's a liar, and then two posts later decide that he's going to do it after all, and then get pissed at Obama-ramalama for not setting fire to the woman and shoving her off of a mountain.
Obviously it was a moment of hyperbole from a woman who hasn't learned how to protect her comments from the press. I'm not defending it, it was definitely a mistake--but geez, people... calm down... personally, some of us do think Clinton's acting a bit monstrous these days!
Of course I'm not sure knowing just what to say and when to the press signifies better judgment and more experience than a lifetime of intellectual and real world achievement and rewards but hey, let's keep the stoning going.

To use your own logic, how does using dehumanizing terms like "monster" and "monstrous" help the Democratic party?
My opinion is that when supporters dehumanize either candidate--THAT'S what rips the party apart.
What the candidates are doing is simply campaigning.
So let's stop using hyperbolic words like "monstrous," okay? They're inaccurate and harmful to the party.
