Posted: 8/26/06 at 5:57pmActually, papadapa, a friend of mine had a similar problem. We took him to the local auto body shop and left him overnight. The body shop experts were able to fix the problem, and we picked him up the next day. He was like new. He got a choice of skin tone colors for his chest and it only took a few short weeks for him to stop leaving a trail of black smoke in his wake, too.

Here are a few poultice ideas. I think the fourth one would be appropriate in papas case.
TYPES OF POULTICES
Mustard: This is beneficial for inflammation, lung congestion, and swelling, and can help relax tense muscles. Because mustard is an irritant, place the mixture between 2 pieces of cloth, rather than placing it in direct contact with the skin.
Onion: Is good for ear infections, and for boils and sores that have difficulty healing. To make this poultice, place finely chopped onion between 2 pieces of cloth, rather than placing it in direct contact with the skin.
Pau d'arco, Ragweed, and Wood Sage: Can be combined and used to treat tumors and external cancers.
Poke Root: Is good for an inflamed or sore breast.
Sage: Like poke root, can help relieve breast inflammation and soreness.

Well, I was thinking about it and Papa's really not a chicken, he's more a chicken-chaser. I even hear he's a breast man.
So I'm assuming KFC will be catering the wake?

Posted: 8/28/06 at 11:47amhas the bleeding stopped yet? Maybe if you stick a tampon into the wound that will help stop the bleeding....make sure the string is hanging out of the wound though...it'll make it easier for the doctors to get it out.

Now I generally love a good thread like this. The flights of hyperbolic entendres are a good workout for the brain....
But why are folks ganging up on geek? If there's a good reason, I'd love a PM.
