I think I agree with the description of Aries as being dominant and spontaneous. But, I always thought I was good at expressing my feelings... I'll have to give that some thought, though.

Addy, that sounds a lot like my dad. Except he waited until just before their 22nd anniversary to spring all this on us. Oh, and he hasn't had an affair...to my knowledge, at least.

The truly sad thing about the mid-life crisis, Rose, is that I want so desperately to help him through this. But, now I can't. He has made it impossible for me to be there for him.

He has nursed me through cancer and the death of my former love, and the fact that I can't be there for him when he probably needs me the most is KILLING me. But, I can't.

Some lines just can't be crossed. You can't go back and un-cross them.

It breaks my heart. I wish I could hate him. But I can't.

I know what you mean, Addy. I hate seeing people I love in pain. I have never seen my mom cry as much as she has in the last six months. I don't think *I've* cried more than in the past six months. My mom says that I'm her rock. Well, that's great, but who's gonna be *my* rock? A ship can't stay afloat with a hole in the bottom...

Life is all about learning... we're given a deck of cards, and it's not whether it's a good hand or a bad hand, but what we do with them.

Hell... I thought I'd never had to find a bf again. And didn't want to... I'm POZ and the thought of being in the dating world again scared the sh!t out of me. Alas, after 11 years it was over, and there I was, dating in my mid-30's. Ugh! But, I'm happier now, he's happier now, we get along great and both have moved on to better relationships. (don't take me wrong, the year following the break-up was a mess for me.

Anyway... Beav... fellow aquarian... sorry, not ignoring you... I just had to do some work (still do!)...

This thread is becoming quite therapeutic. And you are absolutely right. It's what we do with the hand we're dealt.

I've fielded a few blows (cancer, losing my loved one to suicide...), but I like to think that I've emerged stronger and (hopefully) wiser.

We get to make a choice every day about how we want to live our lives. I choose to make every day count. Or, at least I try to...

My Breakup and only breakup happened in November 2004, after a long relationship(2 and a half years) he breaks up with me VIA MSN Messeneger, and I've never seen him in person since.

As I was just saying on the wrong thread. No major breakups here. Relationships just ended. Broken heart a couple times, with twinges of regrets occasionally.

I hung out with Cheyenne Jackson in his dressing room waayyyyyy before he tickled D2.

bwaygirl- on the wrong thread??? well whateer, Im soo jealous of you, no major breakups...I wish I could return to that part of me.

Earlier in the day this thread was majorly sad, but now its soo great, with the whole astrological analysis going on. Its great! *Hugs for all* Does anyone know that if aquarius is most compatable with Libra, if it works the other way too? I once read it didnt, thats why I ask.

I had a bunch of Joni Mitchell CDs out the other night... and will probably dance around my living room this weekend to a bunch of 'break-up' tunes.
