re: breakups

It is the lamest excuse but , in my case it wasn't I'm not ready, I to this day have no idea why he dumped me, I have my suspcious's since he DID start going out with someone the next day. Someone who lives in another provience, so its an internet relationship, though he did know her from his early years..

2 years and a half gone, to this day its hard to believe I'm single. My heart hasn't healed yet but at least music helps me feel better.

re: breakups

ok...two most recent break ups.

First...18 months ago. I find that the girl I'd proposed to and been through 3(YES 3) miscarriages with, had been cheating on me the entire 17 months we'd been dating with various different guys. (one of which being her ex-bf) So then we break up and she tells her friends, family and people we know that the reason we broke up is because I have a temper and threatened to kill her and beat her up while we dated. (all of the people who heard this and knew me, immediately dismissed it as the lie of a century)

Second..2 weeks ago. A girl breaks up with me because a tarot card reading tells her that she's going to become a widow. She freaks out and tells me she can't go through that kind of emotional torture again. (her ex-husband had killed himself a year ago, shortly after they divorced)

Oy...what luck I have eh?

re: breakups

In that case, wouldn't she already sort of be a widow?

re: breakups

Leos and leos are dangerous, because both members of the couple require almost constant attention. That is a recipe for disaster, because one can't pay attention when they are concentrating on asking for it.

re: breakups

So two Leos would be the same as two actors?

re: breakups

Yes.
And interestingly enough, most of the actors I know are leos. I wonder if Equity would share just the birthdate listings of their members, anonymously. I'd love to do a study about the astrological signs of the profession.

re: breakups

Addy....I am so sorry.

It's been so long since my last breakup and I can still remember how hard it was. So my heart is going out to you and anyone else going through it.

My *anthem* for the year I was single was "Love Song for No One"... I had a Miata then, and I'd play it with the top down and sing my little broken yet hopeful heart out.

re: breakups

After all the tears I've cried
You'd think I would give up on love
Get off this line
But maybe I might get it right this time
I was there as passion turned to pain
Sunshine turned to rainy days
Yet here I am
Ready to begin once again
All my life I've been a dreamer
Dreamin' dreams that always broke in two
But I still believe in love
And I love believing
Maybe you can make my dreams come true
Here content with who I am
I'm reachin' out my hand to him
Once again
At least I know I've made myself a friend
All my life I've been a dreamer
Dreamin' dreams that never quite came true
But I still believe in love
And I love believing
I'll keep on dreaming
Because I still believe in love
I still believe in love
And me
And you
I still believe in love
