I'll let Rachel Maddow speak for me.

If I were to speak for myself, it would be more along the lines of "Hey, old man--GET OUTTA THE ROAD!"
Maddow will be interviewing Sanders tonight, which should be very interesting. She has been quite critical of his campaign's rhetoric to justify his continuation in the primary.
Now that Clinton has won the Guam caucuses, I'm sure Sanders will drop out.
Lol. Yes, he's just been waiting for the Guam results. :)
And that interview last night was interesting. He toned down his rhetoric quite a bit and, while still not saying he'd endorse Clinton, he did say he'd do whatever it took to make sure Trump didn't get elected which is a bit of a change in his message.
Progressive!

Yes, she's going to be the most progressive president this country has seen since Franklin Roosevelt.
Because this.

also, this week both Clinton and Sanders were due to meet with national LGBT/and aids activists in DC. Sanders has cancelled his meeting, due to "scheduling" problems. Clinton is planning to attend as scheduled.
Members of the group of HIV activists are now being attacked on social media by ill-tempered Bernie supporters. Peter Staley posted this statement:
[We are] a coalition of over 70 AIDS groups and leaders, including supporters of both Democratic candidates. We are unanimous in our disappointment in how the Sanders campaign has stood us up, and dropped all communication. We ask all his supporters to help us as we seek to reschedule this important meeting in the fight against HIV/AIDS. Stop attacking AIDS activists for doing what we've always done -- which is fight the stigma and marginalization that continue to fuel this health crisis.
WASHINGTON BLADE: Bernie Sanders cancels meeting with HIV activists

Charles King, CEO of Housing Works, said in the statement he’s among Sanders’ supporters, but the candidate’s decision to cancel the meeting is “incredibly disappointing.”
“I have been a supporter of Bernie Sanders, and was proud to vote for him in the New York primary,” King said. “It is disheartening to see the ‘revolutionary’ candidate who claims to value grassroots organizing and visionary politics not make time in his schedule to meet with us. He is supposed to be the guy who walks the walk, but all we’ve heard the past six weeks is talk—and fairly tepid, reactive talk at that.”
Cute, and he did well today!
The opinions in this thread (which are almost unanimously in favour of Clinton) make it easy to forget how big Bernie Sanders' following is. But for every 4 Clinton voters, there have been 3 Sanders voters. Not enough to win so far, but that's a lot of people who want to see a highly progressive future and foresight, not hindsight.
Only in horseshoes & hand grenades.

I think that's a gross exaggeration. In my opinion, the vast majority of voters in the Dem primary share a vision of what this country should be.

From the above linked article:
"Operating under the assumption that Sanders will win the California primary"
Why, exactly, are they operating under that assumption? Every single poll shows him losing by anywhere from 7-15 points in California.
Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
adamgreer, you can't say he's going to lose something. That triggers millennials and then it's a whole thing with trying to calm them down with a binky and a bottle and it takes hours.

While they are thankful they retain their cognitive capacity so that in a couple of years when they finally turn off the life support and the blue hairs take their last whimsical breath, they rest easy knowing the USA can finally catch up with the rest of the western world. (Obviously I don't hold these attitudes, but ageist jokes can get tiresome lol).

When Bernie is president, you won't have to work spam any more.
A fascinating 1999 article from the Liberty Union Party, to which Sanders belonged in the '70s. This is the kind of stuff that would be uncovered in the general, if he were the nominee -- or before, if the media had vetted him properly. Some highlights::
"In late April I was among the 25 Vermonters who occupied Congressman Bernie Sanders’ Burlington office to protest his support of the NATO bombing of Yugoslavia and the ongoing war against Iraq. Calling ourselves the “Instant Antiwar Action Group,” we decided to bring our outrage at
Bernie’s escalating hypocrisy directly to his office, an action that resulted in 15 of us being arrested for trespass."
"Bernie became an imperialist to get elected in 1990. In August, 1990–after the Bush administration enticed Iraq into invading Kuwait–Sanders said he wasn’t “going to let some damn war cost him the election,” according to a staff member who was present at the time. So Sanders backed the buildup in the Persian Gulf and dumped on the left anti-imperialist peace movement, singling out his former allies like Dave Dellinger for public criticism."

"Since 1991 the Democrats have given Bernie membership in their Congressional Caucus. Reciprocally, Bernie has become an ardent imperialist. Sanders endorsed Clinton in 1992 and 1996. In 1992 he described Clinton as the “lesser of evils,” (a justification he used to denounce when he was what the local press called an “avowed socialist&rdquo. By 1996 he gave Clinton an unqualified endorsement. He has been a consistent “Friend of Bill’s” from since 1992. One student I know worked on the Clinton Campaign in 1996 and all across Vermont, Bernie was on the stage with the rest of the Vermont Democratic Party Leadership, while the unauthorized Democratic candidate for his Congressional seat was
kept out in the audience."
"Sanders continues to support sanctions even though the Iraqi body count has now passed 1.5 million. Just as he has supported every bombing of Iraq since 1992. When Clinton sent military
units to Kuwait and Saudi Arabia in October, 1994 because Iraq moved troops inside Iraq closer to the Kuwait border (apparently about 100 miles away), Bernie supported this because “we cannot tolerate aggression."
"Recently, Bernie championed in Congress the dumping of Vermont’s nuclear waste near Sierra Blanca, Texas, a low income border community with a mostly Latino population that is overwhelmingly opposed to the dump project. Environmental racism and classism seem not to bother him."
"On a related issue, Bernie was recently asked by the local press why he was the only member of Vermont’ s three member Congressional delegation who had no person of color on his staff. Bernie responded that “we’re hiring the most qualified people we can.”
"Sanders was repeatedly unresponsive to questions put to him. He evasiveness and arrogance did not serve him well. In the end, only a few people defended him.Whatever else Sanders gets for his joining the other side in the global struggle forsocial justice–he has lost the left and the peace movement here is Vermont. Maybe in the next election he will finally have to run officially as the Democrat he has been for the last 9 years! And then the people of Vermont will be free to build the anti-capitalist political movement and party that Sanders has worked so hard to block for more than a decade."

Pressure is really mounting on Sanders to drop out so the party can focus on Trump:
