#1duet for brother/sister?

My kids are going to be in a competition in March. The competition is for singers or dancers. Last year my 12 year old daughter won the child vocal division. This year she and my 14 year old son will be competing together. She is a mezzo soprano/belter and he is a baritone. They were going to do "Bop to the Top" from HSM but were told by a director that they should look for something better.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Nancy

"Touch Me" from Spring Awakening?
totally kidding. how about some duet from Seussical? Its cute for kids, do the characters have to be siblings or just age appropriate without being love-y?

I laughed so hard when I read your message. And no it doesn't have to brother sister just not lovey dovey....so I definately think touch me is out of the question.
Talking about age appropriateness...it's funny my daughter and I did a broadway revue at our theater. Emily was really the one youth in a cast of adults. She is 12 but small for her age so everyone thinks she is like 8. We were grannies in "Along Came Bialy" (walkers and all) and when we first started learning
the dance, I really hadn't remembered what the lyrics were. By the time we learned the lyrics, it was too late to pull her out.
She is way beyond the maturity of a normal 12 year old since she has been doing theater since she was 6. Anyways, my husband was so mad at me when he saw the performance. Oh well...

I haven't gotten to hear or see HSM 3 yet. But my only concern is being able to find karaoke versions of the songs seeing it just came out.
I actually just spoke to the lady in charge of the competition. We have worked with her in other shows so I felt comfortable asking her about the Bop to the Top. And she said
amazingly enough, not many people have auditioned with HSM songs especially ones with harmonies....so I just might go with Bop to the Top. Of course, I still would like to hear other suggestions just in case someone comes with an unbelieveable suggestion.
Thanks
