The House Without a Christmas Tree...with Lisa Lucas, Mildred Natwick and Jason Robards is absolutely one of my faves as well...but I forgot it because I havent seen it in 20 years. I hope that someone airs it this season!!! I am gonna put TiVo on the case!

I was given a copy of the Video last year for Christmas - but haven't watched it yet - I'm waiting for the appropriate time to open it and watch it this Christmas season.

"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!" Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!

Okay, you got me, "Home Alone 2: Lost in New York" is my favorite Christmas movie.

But I prefer to watch King of the Hill (with Jesse Bradford) on Christmas Eve.

i like one of those old kiddy movies: Santa Claus is coming to Town. love it! such a great story line.

do like: Home alone (classic christma movie)
Mircle of 34th street (original)
Muppets christmas carol is pretty good too.

there is a movie called Christmas Shoes, but I just like the song Chirstmas Shoes. Makes me cry all the time.

<--- the set of A Midsummer Night's Dream that I was assistant stage manager for during the 2007 season at the STNJ outdoor stage.

You must remember all the same that at the crux of every game is knowing when it's time to leave the table... And it's important to be artful in your exit. No turning back, you must accept the con is done... It was a ball, it was a blast. And it's a shame it couldn't last. But every chapter has to end, you must agree.

There's a special kind of people known as show people. We live in a world full of dreams. Sometimes we're not too certain what's false and what's real. But we're seldom in doubt about what we feel.

For most people, It's a Wonderful Life. For me, Miracle on 34th Street (1947). The remake is very good, too.

My sister and I just watched three Christmas movies in a row:

To Grandmother's House We Go - When the Olsen twins were little and cute. Such a great movie!

A Muppet Family Christmas - on VHS from when it aired on CBC many years ago

JM2! I'll have to have words with you later about subjecting these good people to your Nestor the Long Eared Donkey obsession! And one more ! to boot!

My classic favorites--A Miracle on 34th Street and It's a Wonderfull Life (now that they don't show it 400 time a season)

Contemporary favorites--The Ref and A Christmas Story

TV Specials--Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer (though Santa is kind of an a$$) and The Charlie Brown Christmas Special

Movies that happened to be set at Christmas Time--While You Were Sleeping and Die Hard.

How DARE you insult my choice for a favorite Christmas movie? Just who do you think you are? Nestor is a symbol of Love and Peace and Acceptance in this...*sob*....crazy, mixed up world.

Your refusal to accept Nestor as an acceptable Xmas movie is wrong on so many levels. Your elitist attitude disgusts me.

So there.

And Nestor would have kicked Rudolph's ass any day. And his 8 reindeer "friends".

Nestor was a wussy and you know it. My money is on Rudolph with one hoof tied behind his back.

I live for the old claymation specials:
A year without a Santa Clause (The Heat Meiser one) I love that.
Frosty the Snowman makes me cry.
I am Jewish and I adore all of those specials. I like them more now than when I was a child.
I wish they would make an Avenue Q, Christmas, Chanukkah and Kwanza special for tv.
Katemonster's Christmas special for all of us MONSTERS!

Oh, I absolutely LOVE The Ref!

But, by far, my favorite Christmas movie of all time is WHITE CHRISTMAS. I can watch that over and over and never get tired of it. Oh, my heart skips a beat for Danny Kaye. Beautiful, sexy, talented, adorable, Danny Kaye.
