re: favorite baby names

I love that joke! And yeah, that's how this kids name was pronounced, also. These parents should be locked up.

And now they have a son.

I don't know why that popped into my head just now. lol

Coco..Apple...Tang...Spinach...Frosted Flakes...

ok, seriously...
For girls I like Jaidyn Grace and I used to like Jane Madison...but that really remindes me of James Madison(the 4th president of the U.S.) but I still like both of those names

for boys I like James, Jamison, William, and Matthew...but my brother's name is Matthew...
You aren't feeling overwhelmed are you?

re: favorite baby names

no one actually knows Lemonjello and Orangejello! That is such an urban legend. It totally amuses me, but you can't even imagine the number of people I know who claim to have met these twins. There is even a cartoon that has twin babies named that after this legend. My aunt is a kindergarden teacher and she has claimed to have taught these kids a number of times. Shes so full of it! Anyway it is funny! ANd I bet there are people out there who name there kids now b/c of the joke/legend.

*is still in shock nobody has picked on him for his children's names yet...I'm usually the endless brunt of massive amounts of criticism for them*

I actually like your name choices, Guido. I can't stand conventional names for people. If I ever change my name, I seriously want to be called Scarlett. . .

*The following is a list of REAL people, not Urban legends. It's amazing the things you hear about when you're related to a labor and delivery nurse.*

- Latrine (the mother went into labor in a bathroom, saw the word on the door, and thought it was pretty.)
- Cinderella Snow White
- Majestic Maps
- Marsha Mellow
- Cash Register (Yes, his parents really did that to him. Register was his last name. He was my Aunt's accountant.)

I have a name collection.
I have pages upon pages of names that I find absolutely fascinating.

Unfortunately, I would feel guilty naming a child Tarquin or Scheherezade.
And, although I think they would make good names, Secant and Allele are better suited to textbooks than childern.

I really like the idea of naming a boy Lukan and a girl Anavieve.

It's probably a good thing that I'm never going to have children.
I starred in a short film called Magnetic Personality. Check it out!

re: favorite baby names

I would like to take a moment to advise everyone to avoid compound names at all costs. It just causes confusion. My name is Mary Katherine (I mostly go by Mary Kate or MK), and every database seperates it, but then for colleges and stuff I have to apply with my full name, and I never know what to write on the papers for standardized testing. Eventually I started putting a hyphen in it just to stop confusing people, but seriously, folks, it gets annoying.

re: favorite baby names

As many people know, I teach in a school that is known for having students with bizarre names. We are overrun by kids named Jamahl, Tyrone, Keisha, Shakeena and almost every class has a girl named Shaquanna in it. In fact, some people refer to The Mecca of Education as "The Shaquanna School". However, there's a young man in my Junior English class who is 6'3" tall and plays on the school's football team. His name is "Babylove" and his friends call him "Baby" for short.

I'm not making this up!

re: favorite baby names

I know what u mean lwf. My sister has the same name, and when she was younger everyone called her Mary-kate. Then a few years later she decided she hated that and just wanted to be called Mary, but no one caught on. So now when they call her Mary Kate she gets really mad.
Ways to annoy people: Arrive at a meeting late, say you're sorry, but you didn't have time for lunch, and you're going to be nibbling during the meeting. Then eat raw potatoes. Ask people what gender they are,or Disagree strongly with everything anybody says:)

re: favorite baby names

Sometimes people ask me which I want to be called, but neither one suit me. Mary is too traditional, Kate is too...well, let's put it this way- I know at least 20 different Kates.
