i know boys arent supposed to like flowers, but i get weak in the knees for a big bunch of tulips (yellow or pink)...
whats your favorite flower?
Stargazer Lily's. Love the way they and most other lily's smell.

Puppies are babies in fur coats.
Tinfoil...The Terrorizing Terminator
I have categories-tulips for appearance. Freesia for the best scent I have ever experienced. Gerberas for photographing.
thanks for this thread-corny as it may sound-FLOWERS ARE MY LIFE!
that is, after pizza.
Roses... horrible cliche, but they're beautiful.
I also have a random appreciation for alpine wildflowers owing to this botany class I took last summer. Gentians and wild peonies are beautiful. It's just gorgeous to see this on a mountain cliff in the Alps:

I like the Stargazers too--aren't the white ones called Casablanca lilies? But I think Irises are my fave--we used to have them growing voluntary in my yard as a kid.
And what's wrong with boys liking flowers?
I like looking at flowers outside, I don't need anyone spending money on them for me...
Morning glories are pretty.

Gerber daisies and, above all else, the Tiffany Rose. This one is from my garden.

I adore purple roses.
It is a little odd that in NYC, flowers are actually quite affordable. You can get a nice bouquet for $5!
I love all flowers.
My favorite are ORCHIDS. I also love sunflowers, roses, birds of paradise and tulips.

lilacs and plumeria
I have a plumeria that is getting huge
and what moron told you boys aren't supposed to like flowers? Would it be the same one that said girls shouldn't be firefighters, and only straights can marry?
Daisies, Roses, Daffodils, and lilac
Lilacs are up there for me, as well.

There are very few flowers that I don't like. I fell in love with plumeria and orchids in Hawaii. Orchids are very expensive so I don't indulge in them. My other favorites are pansies, roses, hyfrangea, lilacs, lavender, irises, gladiolas, and crocuses.
Add me to the fan list for the stargazers. I also love these frilly pink roses:
children, I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt and pretend you were attempting to make a joke.
???Making a joke about liking flowers? am I misinterpreting your post?
Oh, the decorating on this thread put me in a happy mood in the middle of winter! Flowers are fantastic. I got a 1/2 dozen roses almost 10 years ago that had a very unique and rather lingering smell. I have the dried boquet hanging in my bedroom and it still gives off the same scent. Whatever rose that is, it's my favorite!

Being an artist, I may be ultrasensitive to color, shape, etc. but I practically get high on seeing the Botannic Gardens in spring. when the temperature is right, and the sun is out, I'm dizzy with amazement of what nature can do. you can't duplicate the colors of nature or the effect of light on flowers when you're there in person in any painting or photograph.
