I Love Lucy.
My favorite is when Lucy and Ethel work in the chocolate factory.
Lucy is priceless. Such a funny lady and ahead of her time.
Nothing comes close.

Some that come to mind are Police Squad ( which became The Naked Gun Movies ) & Best of the West which only lasted 1 season

I don't even think Best of the West lasted a full season. I loved that show, too.

'I Love Lucy' makes me LOL every time I see it. Loved 'Roseanne' - the characters were terrific and the writing was bang on all the time. As far as Brit sit-coms are concerned, there have been some classics which are always being rerun. 'Ab Fab' is terrific as is 'Coupling'. However, for every good one there are about 5 awful ones which you can't distinguish as they're ALL about families with teenage kids.
