i'm in the hospital

i feel blah.

after 5 (yes 5) ER visits and two failed home-care nurse visits for IV antibiotics for the UTI from hell that turned into the kidney infection from hell, i was admited to hartford hospital last night through the ER.

i can't leave untill i finish this cource of antibiotics (IV levaquin) AND have negative cultures. x_X

i'm very bored.

although i did have a very lovely visiter today

i'll keep the cute girls and a few of the cute boys.... but only the ones that have emo hair in the faces.


edit: jane, that's roscoe! he actually works at the hospital as a therapy dog :) he had his own hospital ID badge and everything.

Ugh. Days-long hospital visits suck!! Once your past the exciting 'We saved your life part,' it's just crushing boredom and annoyance.

I think it is brilliant to allow dogs into the hospital! I know nothing makes me feel better faster then to be snuggled by my two dogs when I'm ill! When my partner was in St Vincent's AIDs ward they allowed family's to bring their pets in for brief visits to the critically ill (or perhaps a little more accurate, turned a blind eye to the pets that were snuck in). It was amazing to see the positive effect the loved pets had on the patients!

Feel better and make sure Rosco gets a good belly rub.
