"His wife, actress Paige Davis (that's right: in real life, she'ss Paige Page), returned from a national tour of Sweet Charity in time for her husband's return to Broadway. Her next stop will be resuming her hosting duties for "Trading Spaces," a reality series for cable."

Posted: 11/13/07 at 10:26amI ADORED Trading Spaces. After she left, the show went so far downhill, it wasn't even worth watching any more. She made that show. I even watched it forever ago when Alex was the host, and Paige just made everything so much better. I kind of hope this is true, but I'm also really really hoping to see her back on stage again.

Posted: 11/13/07 at 10:50amI, too, stopped watching when she departed. I also saw her opening night at Roxie in CHICAGO. I'm a little obsessed. I even met her at a friend's show and chatted her up a bit. She's a fun gal I'd love to drink with!

I haven't seen it yet so I have no opinion on it.
I miss Ty as well....thankfully I have Extreme Makeover: Home Edition to help with that.

Posted: 11/13/07 at 12:16pmNo, she actually used a STAPLE gun. The room had to be completely re-dry walled. And the thing is, it was a beautiful bathroom to begin with. It was just a friend of Genevieve's whose neighbor wanted to do it, so they volunteered.

I agree with JerseyGirl2, I didn't realize the show was still on. Count me in on those who stopped watching when she was fired.
I also thought she had a development deal with Oprah. Guess that didn't pan out.

Posted: 11/13/07 at 1:46pmGo, I hope so! Though I loved seeing her in the Chicago tour, Trading Spaces went seriously downhill after her firing. I can only hope they wil bring back some of the original designers as the new ones I've seen recently really SUCKED ASS.

A couple of years ago, she was in Pittsburgh playing Maria in "The Sound of Music" for our Civic Light Opera the same week as our Gay Pride Parade.
The parade route passed right by the hotel that the CLO headliners are put up and as the group I was marching with passed by it, she came out on her way to the theater to get ready for the matinee.
I screamed out "MISS DAVIS!!!!! TRADING SPACES JUST ISN'T THE SAME WITHOUT YOU!!!!!!!!"
She smiled and waved.

It's official - Paige is coming back in January. I stopped watching after she left.
On a side note - I love some of the rooms that Hildi designs. Some are beautiful and all are interesting and imaginative.

Perhaps it will be worth watching again.
I disliked it when Paige left.
Plus they got rid of the theme song - which was half the fun!
