I'm glad Kelly wasn't nominated. Not a fan.
For what would she have been nominated? She didn't have a release this past year, did she? That list of nominees is quite sad, really.

But when did New Hampshire become--Such a backward wasteland of seatbelt hating crazies?...I mean, only 40 people actually live there. The others are just visitors who come for the tax-free liquor and three inches of novelty coastline. John Hodgeman on The Daily Show (1-30-07)

All I can say is, as happy as I am about some nominations (the Dixie Chicks' multiple noms, Imogen Heap, Nickel Creek's Chris Thile), can anyone take an awards ceremony seriously when they give a nod to "My Humps?"

What the F&CK? Christina's cd only got one nod? ONE FREAKIN' NOD? But, yet Justin Timberlake's cd was up for Album of the year? And this is why I hate the music industry.

I agree that she should have gotten way more noms. "Hurt" should have been up for a few, including Song and Record.
But, Justin's album is freaking good. I was pretty sure (and hopeful) that he and Gnarls would get Album nods along with Aguilera. And, I knew that the Peppers would likely get an Album nod from all I have heard about it.

Well, the two songs that I have heard off his album suck BIG TIME. If it wasn't for Timbaland, he wouldn't even have a solo career. And yes, you can quote me on that.

Sexyback is the worst song I have ever heard.
PERIOD.
that song should eliminate him from ever getting a grammy again.
