I think possibly both of your legs would've looked more natural, (or just your face rather than any leg at all) but you have such a beautiful smile and facial features, that it would probably work anyway :)

Penny,
I think it's a really good photo.
NOw, taken as a headshot, I think it's definitely got a more commercial look only because, as mentioned, the one leg thing makes it look more posed.
Most theatrical headshots are more "head only", although there's no reason you can't use it here.
You come off looking very pretty in this photo and it is easily enough to make them flip it over and look at your resume in consideration of calling you for an audition.

If you don't like the leg - crop it out. No reason to get all new photos.
You're young -- they just want to see what you look like, they'll be forgiving. It looks professional -- which is more than a lot of other child actors could say about their headshots...

Posted: 9/16/05 at 4:27pmYeah, I wouldn't buy new pics, and i agree that for commercial/tv/film it's good, it just looks a little awkward to me is all. I also agree that both legs would be better, but what do I know?

It looks GREAT, very natural which is great with all actors, especially children.
Don't change it, it looks great.
