Is there a difference in the physical size of a 20GB and of a 40GB iPod?
I'm wondering in terms of buying a case for mine. I don't think there is, but the Apple website specifies the type of iPod for the cases.

Posted: 7/18/05 at 10:14pmYes. It's minimal, but it does exist. The 40gb one is just a LITTLE bit thicker. Depending on how form-fitting the case is, there may or may not be a size difference.

Posted: 7/18/05 at 10:24pmIf you get a "sport" case that comes with the belt clip and the arm band for jogging the fit should be fine with either. They give a little.
