"I was really addicted to that myster color popcorn. You never knew what color you'd get, but after 3:20 in the microwave, you could have pink or blue or green or purple popcorn. I think it was a candy coating or something. I loved it; can't remember the name though."
I remember that!! I loved that when I was little, it was really good...it was like something special put out by like jiffy pop or one of those I think, but I could be wrong. I used to always get those though...
mand they don't make food like they used to!
well remember when cereal actually had PRIZES inside, like GOOD prizes? now most cereals don't have anything, it's kinda sad.

"Anyone remember cookies called Giggles?"
They are still around. I'm not sure if they are still called Giggles, but my mother recently bought some for my niece with the smiley face on them.

I remember cereal boxes with actual Jackson 5 records on the back of the box... you just cut out the cardboard 45 record and plopped it on your player.
Okay, backing up... remember records? Remember 45s? Remember the Jackson 5?
*sighs*

They used to have on the small boxes of cereal a dotted line where you just cut away the cardboard, pour milk on the cereal and eat straight from the box.

I know they're still around, but I haven't eaten a Stouffer's French Bread Pizza in maybe 25 years.
Tip: for those of you who miss Coke with sugar in it, keep your eyes peeled during the next month or so (especially in New York). If there's any Coke that's marked "Kosher for Passover," grab it - it's made with sugar! (Corn syrup is not kosher for Passover.)

Sugar Smacks are stiill around - they are just called "Smacks". The word "sugar" is considered evil now. "Sugar Crisp", which was identical to Sugar Smacks, except their mascot was Sugar Bear, who sang like Bing Crosby, is now "Golden Crisp". "Sugar Pops" are now just "Pops", and "Sugar Frosted Flakes" are now just "Frosted Flakes".
Remember Freshen Up Gum - "The gum that squirts in your mouth"? We used to call it "Cum Gum".

Posted: 3/15/06 at 6:54pmOh yeah, I forgot about Sugar Pops. Anyone remember those? I guess they're just called 'Pops' now, too, if they're still around at all. I think Kellogg made them, but don't remember for sure. Anybody know?
