Grape Nuts - you haven't been able to get them here (Australia) for about 30 years.
I also remember that you could buy drinking straws that you'd put into milk, stir and the milk would become flavoured. They had a sort of flavour tablet concealed (inside)at the bottom of the straw, chocolate, pineapple and strawberry.
Remember Sugar Snaps? (And other cereal that had the name "sugar" in it?)
Also...there was some brand of of hot chocolate, I can't remember the name...but it had a western theme and the jingle went "with Marshall Mellow whoopie stars"....
And do they still make pudding pops?

Jujubes (those little tiny candies)
Red Hot Dollars (the quarter-sized ones that were a penny apiece). I used to save some allowance money and buy a whole box of 'em at our camp store, and would have them all summer long.
Hood's rockets (they were a push-up ice cream treat in a tube-like container that you would push the stick from the bottom of the treat, and the ice cream would come out on the top.) Would have one almost every night at camp sitting around the fire. We used to give our dog one, too. :)
Sky Bars
Fizzy tablets - they had different flavors like root beer that you would put a tablet in water, and it would effervesce and make a carbonated drink.
Cap'n Crunch cereal
Corn Pops cereal
Fruit Loops cereal
There's just sooo many to think about :)
Anyone remember cookies called Giggles? They were like oreos except the outside was lighter, and each cookie had a smiley face on it. I loved those, and then I remember my coming home from shopping telling me they had been discontinued. I was very uspet.
To go back not so far, I used to bring string thing for lunch everyday...
How could I forget -
Bottlecaps
Gobstoppers
Candy cigarettes
Sugar Snaps, yes! Reminds me of Grandma and Grandpa's house - they even had a stuffed Sugar Bear I used to sleep with when I spent the night. No wait, Sugar Snaps was the frog - Dig'Em. Super Golden Crisp was with the bear.
and speaking of cereal and grandparents, my other Grandma always had those fun size boxes of cereal that came in a 12 pack or something. i tried looking for those when my little cousins spent the weekend, but not as good as i remembered.
why is it that food is so strongly tied to family and memories?
Burlesque, gushers are still around and I love them!
Sugar babies and sugar daddies! :)
Ice cream man foods like "Screwballs" and "Double Play Sundae." They were a sherbert like consistency, half way between italian ice and ice cream. Both strawberryish flavored with a gumball for when you were done!
I miss a lot of the foods I ate when I lived in Israel.

"And do they still make pudding pops?"
They do, but they're not the same.
"Frankenberry"
I bought some just for old times sake last year around Halloween (I hadn't seen it in years) and I was so disappointed! They don't make things like they used to. =(
"Razzles" - Is it candy or gum? I used to love those!
Big League gum
Hubba Bubba (I think or was it Bubbalicious?) used to make a mint chocolate gum. I loved that!
One thing I've been hoping they'd bring back is Carnation Breakfast Bars. Oh, those were *so* yummy!
Anyone remember Dina-sour Eggs? I used to eat those all the time at baseball games.
Moon Pies
I also have an addiction to Mary Jane's. (no marijauna jokes) My grandma loved those little candies and got me hooked on them.
Can't forget the little wax bottles with liquid inside.
I also had this candybar in England once that was like a milky way with rice crispies mixed in with the nuget. So good!
Werthers Original! I know they are still around, but my grandma used to have a jar of them stocked for when we came over.

Do they still make Big League Chew?
Look, kiddies! Now you can pretend like you're chewing tobaccy, just like the big-time baseball players. Except this will just rot your teeth, not cause cancerous sores to appear on your gums.
I was always kinda disappointed they didn't have lemonade-flavored steroids to inject to complete the illusion.

Of course Tater Tots still exist - as anyone who's seen "Napoleon Dynamite" can attest.
The cereal with Dig'Em the Frog was called Sugar Smacks.
"I was really addicted to that myster color popcorn. You never knew what color you'd get, but after 3:20 in the microwave, you could have pink or blue or green or purple popcorn. I think it was a candy coating or something. I loved it; can't remember the name though."
I remember that!! I loved that when I was little, it was really good...it was like something special put out by like jiffy pop or one of those I think, but I could be wrong. I used to always get those though...
mand they don't make food like they used to!
well remember when cereal actually had PRIZES inside, like GOOD prizes? now most cereals don't have anything, it's kinda sad.
