I've had one orange popcycle......am hoping I am more hungry tomorrow. I am drinking lots of fluids, and so far, so good, if you know what I mean.
This is the first time I have been able to sit up this long since it started

I had it 2 weeks ago. It's HORRIBLE.
Two words describe something I'd like NEVER to experience again in my life, EVER!
Projectile vomiting.
Horrible.

Posted: 1/31/07 at 8:24pmI rarely get sick. I can't remember the last time I had a cold. I guess I just have a good immune system. *knock wood*

Posted: 1/31/07 at 9:53pmI had it over New Year's. It was the first year in recent memory that I didn't have a sinus infection. Then I got that. You have my sympathy and empathy.

i think reading this topic gave me bad luck... although i was bound to get it anyways since in the past few days i've been around two people who had it x_X
that was not a fun way to wake up at 1:30 am
and i must have thrown up my oh-so-important sleeping pill beacuse i hardly slept at all last night.
i'm hoping the worst of it was last night...

Aw, hope you all are feeling better.
Hey, Abba, I went to Kody's site to see if there was any news about Kyle. All mention of him is gone. Do you have any news? How is he doing?

Had it last weekend on top of the cold I already have (been traveling too much, just came back from a long business trip, and I think my resistance is down!).
I thought it was somehting I ate, but now I'm not so sure, since others have had it too. It goes away in a day...if that helps at all!
The cold on the other hand, takes about a week (ick).

Posted: 2/1/07 at 10:31amI might have had it Monday. I thought it was really bad food poisoning, but from the descriptions here, I suspect this might have been what I had. The most unpleasant day I've had in recent memory. I couldn't even keep water down, yet I still had to go to work, because of deadlines (and I was close to passing out at my desk in the interim). The good news: By the next day, I was pretty much back to normal.

Posted: 2/1/07 at 10:44amYou went to work with that?! Wow, thats crazy. I had food poisoning the weekend of my senior show and I went onstage with a garbage pail in the wings. Never ate T.G.I.F's food again after that one.

Being a writer for understaffed publications has its drawbacks.
Several years ago, when I was working for a newspaper in Texas, I had weekend duty and felt terrible. The second I got in to work, I was called in to a traffic accident in which two or three bicyclists were killed. I took my notes, and got in my car to drive for my regular check at the sheriff's department. On the way, I had to pull over and was puking before I could even get the car door open (the image of the mangled bicyclists wasn't helping).
I drove back to the office in a car full of puke, filed my story and prayed no major crimes had happened at all the police departments I was now checking by phone instead of going in person. I think the boss let me go home about an hour early that day.
There's a story to brighten your day, Elphaba.
